If you wish to buy a new power board, contact the authorized service centre for Samsung.

Try pressing Fn + F5 on your laptop to output the TV. Alternatively, on the display driver of your laptop there is a properties to use as a dual output.

Just the exact model and serial numbers. Or you could search for a "universal" remote that supports it.

The most likely cause is a failure of the TAB on the LCD panel inside the TV.

The only fix is too replace the LCD panel itself.

If it is under warranty then you should return it, if not, then you will have to replace the screen or live with it.

Unless you can find the screen cheaply you will find it is not cost effective to repair, just use it as a 2nd TV or a PC monitor.

ok is the monitor u need to replace the lower board of the tv and thats it and u are done enjoy

The Laptop with have a special Keypress combination to switch from the screen in the  lid to external monitor.
Sometimes this [and other alternative] appear as a blue extra on the front edge of the numeral and  first row.
