Your JVC CD player has some mechanical trouble. It does not load CDs fully into the tray. Either tray loading motor or its belt iis faulty. Replace the belt first and see it helps you. If not replace the loading motro. For both, you have to open and disassemble your CD player. If you are able to do it, and have confidence, proceed. OK
Happy New Year.
If you don't wanna send it for service, open the chassis of the player and free the CDs from the tray. Its highly likely that the CDs came off the trays and got stuck inside.
I fixed the same issue by forcibly pulling individual trays to their open position. I removed the casing to gain better access (tons of screws) but you can probably gain clear access to the shelfs without removing the casing if you have good needlenose plyers. I found a stuck CD within one of shelfs, wedged WITHIN the moving components of the shelf. It works perfectly now.
try to open by hand, see if the tray is stuck.
opening by hand is you turn the motor.
if you put a power supply direct to the motor the pcb will be burnt
(giving a bigger problem).
Look for mechanical problems.
hi
does it then say no cds?
does it try and load the tray?
sounds like it is not reconising that any cds are inserted, could be the laser, faulty or the tray is not reaching the tray in/loaded switch.
not worked on many jvc units, so it a bit of guess work

I saw on another JVC systems manual that its an error message that shows when the tray isn't fully open due to an obstruction.
If you can locate a manual eject button(usualy you'll need to insert some tip into it) it will help you eject the tray and look for any obstructions, anything looking out of the ordinary there.
at least that way you'll be able to take your cds out...
You can also try disconnecting the system from all power sources for a few days(including an internal battery), maybe the reset will jog it back to working order.
If you're out of warranty and know your way around those things, try taking it apart, cleaning as much as you can, and look for anything out of the ordinary, like broken gears or pins, bent parts, a cog, etc.
Good luck
