OE error code indicates that the washer is unable to drain the water it used during the wash cycle. OE can be triggered by a kinked drain hose or a clogged drain pump filter..... please clean drain hose back side of washing machine.. Thank you
This error code OE means the tub is not fully drained 10 minutes after the drain pump is turned on.This is possibly due to a clogged/kinked drain hose or the drain filter is blocked. Make sure the drain hose is clear then open the filter door located at the bottom left front of the machine. Drain the remaining water from the tub through the emergency drain hose located in the filter door area. Once completely drained, turn the knob counterclockwise then pull out and clean the filter. Reach in the pump impeller area and turn it with your finger. Replace the drain pump if the filter is clear and the impeller is broken or restricted and cannot be freed.
The LG error code OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Presumably the
water isn’t being emptied properly.A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be
caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the
drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.
Clean and straighten the drain hose / clean the drain filter.
OE means the drain hose is clogged. UE means unbalanced or overloaded. This is decribed in the owner's manual page 31-32. Pull the hose from the back of machine and rinse it out. Then, check the lint filter on the bottom, front left side. Put drain hose back and close lint filter. Unplug the machine, press and hold the start button for 10 seconds to reset machine computer (not the on button...leave machine turned off and unplugged while resetting computer) plug back in, put on no spin and start the machine. It should drain.
This is a drain error as you have figured out Good Job!
Now this can be caused from a broken impeller in the pump and or a plugged tub to pump hose.
Have you washer any rugs which may have came apart in the wash?
If so the hose from the tub to the pump may be restricted causing the code.
The hose will need to be cleaned.
This is a job best left to a pro.
OE error is noyhing but an Outlet Error..OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Clean and straighten the drain hose / clean the drain filter. Check the hoses (drain hose) and the pump filter but if it didn't cure the problem then turn the thing upside down and strip the pump out of it check if anything is caught in the impellor.. if so remove it and everything will be fine..
The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.
LG themselves have some information on this error code..
Replace the water pump. Because the water can not pump out, the machine idles for a while then stops with the error code OE. The technician said, the drain hose should be hang high before curse down to the drainage so air can not go to the hose.
OE : Drain Hose is Kinked or clogged or The Drain Filter is clogged -

I unplugged the unit, since that helped with the LE code. I'm beginning to think I have a bad pump.
