The flap on the ice despenser is not closing and water is forming in the pan below. Is there an scamatic of the door ice maker despenser?

Check the flap on the door to see if it is closing all the way . Also it could be over filling the icemaker with water then running over which could be a water valve in the back of the fridge sticking open a little

Problem with these flaps are that they have plastic hinge which work great for sometime when they are new and have shiny inner surface but with use they develop minor scratches which cause resistance and hence partial closing. Either get the flap replaced or apply Vaseline jelly in the moving part of the hinge.

Maybe the "spring" system of the dispenser lever is faulty, try open it and closing with your hand and see if it will stay close on its own.
But yes you are right, it freezes because warmer air is entering though the dispenser

only use ice from the ice maker, some frost is normal, but , lower temp in freezer

Check and make sure that the flap that lets the ice out is shutting properly. When warm air enters the freezer door, it condensates then water freezes forming your ice. If this is your problem, they make a kit that replaces it. Good luck...

It sounds like the flap in the door for the ice despenser is missing or is sticking open. The room temperature will lower the temp in the ice bucket enough to partially melt that ice, OR cause a LOT of condensation that may freeze or re-freeze.

You will need to re place the soliniod that closes door flap

The ice maker has stopped working. The red led light blinks when the freezer door is opened. Any thoughts?
