Crosley Model CR79 (4 in 1) not working

1. Uh, I think you already have a solution but the following may help someone else.
2. Ensure that the device is powered on.
3. Press the "Function" button (28/58) to set the unit to CD mode.
4. Press the "Open/Close" button (19/48) to open the CD drawer.
5. Insert a CD into the tray with the label side facing up.
6. Press the "Open/Close" button again to close the CD drawer.

If the above steps don't work, you can try the following:

1. Unplug the device from the power outlet.
2. Wait for a few minutes.
3. Plug the device back in.
4. Press the "Open/Close" button to see if the CD drawer opens.

If the drawer still doesn't open, there might be a mechanical issue with the device. Look for the Fixya advise referred to above. If if that doesn't work, in that case, it's best to contact Crosley's customer support for further assistance.

It may very well be that you have the humidity extraction level set to high. Lower it to 32-35%. If you have a manual unit, set the control to Maximum. Since it's a basement application, raising the unit up off the floor on to a sturdy table or counter top that can handle the weight of the unit, plus a full bucket of water, may also solve the problem. As, the air temp at floor level is colder than at chest or shoulder level. Dehumidifiers do not work well at temperatures between 40 - 60 degrees F. Unless you have what's called a Low Temp Model. They are specifically designed for basement applications.

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

there may be a problem with the pressure switch.there may also be a problem witht the lid switch.try and unplug the unit and see what happens.
the main control board would be the last thing to go out and need replaceing
