Creative Zen V Plus

I use also Creative Zen, but I do not use any software at all. Windows install automaic a driver so you can see it in the folder " My Computer ". From there you can access your drive (like all the other drives you have on the computer) and copy your musik files etc. to it !!!

Install the software included with the Creative Zen V Plus. Many problems with the MP3 player can be resolved by installing or updating the software included with the device. Use the CD that came with the player to make the install, or log on the Creative Zen V Plus product page on the company website to download the latest firmware:

1. Turn off your player (if possible).
   
   
2. Push the end of a pin-like object (for example, a straightened paper clip) into the reset hole, press gently and remove.
   
   
3. Power on the player.
   
   
4. The reset hole for the ZEN V / V Plus is located on the left side with the player facing up.

I would try plugging it in to your comp and see if it is recognized. if so i would reload the firmware:

Press the "reset" button. If it didn't work, upgrade the firmware of this product. If problems still continue, contact the Creative company.

i have a problem with my creative zen v plus. every time i shut it down it comes back on by itself. And when it comes on i have no control. can you help me. thank you

holding play button while powering up, then running Clean Up & rebooting did the trick.

Have you tried installing the latest firmware? Version is 1.32.01.
