SOURCE: monitor takes forever to come up the blue light

blackbeard1, Could be it needs Filter caps. I would also closely investigate all solder connections of surface and through hole mounted electronic components for possible "frosty looking" "cold" solder joints that may be thermally intermittant!! 12fix louie

Samsung monitor blue flashing light, black screen

Hello,

The picture board of your monitor has developed fault. That is why the screen is black.

The best thing for you to do now is to take the monitor to a local repairer within your vicinity, because the fault is not something you can fix in other not to complicate issues..

The repairer will help diagnose and replace the faulty picture board and your monitor is back and better.

Take care.

Same monitor, same problem!!!

While the unit is attempting to "come ready", disconnect and reconnect the 7 wire blue plug. Some how or another, this disrupts the start up pattern that is failing, and the monitor comes on as normal when reconnected???

Blank screen after monitor sleep just blue flashing light

Hi,

First of all you can change the Power Settings in Control Panel. You can configure as you need. I mean after how much wait it should go for sleep n all.

If it takes 5 min. to wakeup that means you have so many applications running that system cannot manage or RAM is small.

The final solution just remove the Display drivers and reinstall it.

After removing please restart the system once to proceed further

Hp pavilion f1703 blue monitor power button flashesw/ dark screen

Have you tried connecting this monitor to another computer, even a laptop. This would tell you whether the display is bad or the video card is the culprit. I suspect the monitor's power supply is dying. Taking it to a pro for repair should cost @55.00. Buying a new monitor @ $100 - $125.

Cuts in and out

I suspect a bad compressor run capacitor. Take the unit to a service facility & have the capacitor & overload protector replaced. The overload will be weakened by the repeated cycling.
