My 6 yr old monitor takes about 30 mins. to activate from standby mode. Once activated its fine. The power light glows yellow in standby and slowly blins on and off blue until the screen is activated, then glows blue steadily. Any suggestions?

On the bottom of your monitor or on the right side is a set of buttons one is for brightness and contrast try to reset the brightness and then contrast. If this does not work you may need a new monitor.

this is not a driver issue. There is a hardware problem. You will have to replace the lights, or purchase a new monitor.

Thanks and good luck, let me know how it turns out.

Question about standby mode on a taylor soft serve machine #8752

Standby Mode deactivates the beater and keep the ice cream cold. When you come off Standby, the ice cream warms a little and the beater starts. You can be in standby Mode as long as you like, It keep the ice cream mix in peak condition. There will be a short delay in serving the next customer.

Standby (US and Canada Only) During long no-sale periods it becomes necessary to warm product in the freezing cylinder to approximately 35Ā°F to 40Ā°F (1.7Ā°C to 4.4Ā°C) to prevent overbeating and product breakdown. When the STANDBY button is pressed, the light comes on, indicating the cylinder temperature retention system (CTR) has been activated. In the Standby mode, the Wash, Pump, and Auto functions are automatically canceled. The Mix Ref function is automatically locked in to maintain the mix in the cabinet. To resume normal operation, press the AUTO button. When the machine cycles off, product in the freezing cylinder will be at serving viscosity.

Nothing displays on the monitor when I turn on the computer

is there power to the monitor? is the monitor in standby(yellow light on monitor)? is the monitor on (green light on monitor)? how is the monitor connected to the computer, VGA (square fat cable, the end may be blue) or HDMI cable? When you turn on the computer is the power light on and HDD light flashing / showing activity? this would indicate that the computer is booting up. If you have power light and activity on the computer, I would unplug the data cable to the monitor. If the monitor is plugged in, i would press the power button to try and turn on the monitor / take it out of standby. If the monitor is ok you should see a message like "no signal" or "no input". This would tell you that the monitor is fine, but you may have a problem with the video card or video port on the motherboard. If you have no activity light on the on the computer, you may have a problem with the OS not booting up. You really didn't provide much detail on what has been done, but this is how I troubleshoot out in the field when working on something like this.

Internal led of ML350 server is glowing.......how do i resolve it?

Hi Franceso, plz specify
Is it powering ON ?
Which LED is glowing?
These leds are there on the front panel :

1 Power On/Standby button
2 System power LED
Green = Power on
Amber = System shut down, but power still applied
Off = No power

3 Internal health LED (Wave sign in BOX)
Green = Normal
Amber = System degraded. To identify the component in a degraded state, refer to system board LEDs.
Red = System critical. To identify the component in a critical state, refer to system board LEDs.
Off = Normal (when in standby mode)

4 External health LED (power supply)
Green = Normal
Amber = Power redundancy failure
Red = Critical power supply failure
5 NIC 1 activity LED Green = Network link
Flashing = Network link and activity
Off = No link to network.
6 UID LED Blue = Activated
Flashing = System remotely managed
Off = Deactivated
7 UID button

If it is Internal health led then any internal h/w issue is suspected.
If it is external health led then any power supply or power source related issue is suspected.
Also check the status of the server & its IML (Integrated Management Logs) in ilo (Integrated Lights Out ) if it is configured. (2nd RJ45 port in rear)

Also make sure the cabinet is properly closed.
