Wii console fan runs strong and game plays. Fan slows way down and disc is no longer reading.

The fan might be broken and the disc drive could also be broken and both the fan and the disc drive will have to be replaced for your Wii console. It would be more easier to purchase a new one from Lukie Games and DKOldies and East Starland games and JJ games.

Disc wont play, when starting up player sounds like its running then gives cant read disc error

it could be one of 2 things, either ur laser is on its way out or the motor in the dvd drive has run out of lubricant. the latter is quite obvious as the drive will be noisy when spinning!!!, if ur tech savvy and are capable of doing so, remove the drive from the xbox and open up the drive casing, the motor is situated under where the disc sits on the little black disc. there are 3 screws holding the motor in place, remove them and with gentle pressure pull the black section from the motor, clean thoroughly then place a couple of drops of wd40 or 3 in 1 oil onto the shaft. re-assemble and that should solve the problem..

I recetly got my x box 360 flashed with 1.61 iextreme and now it plays original x box 360 games fine but the backed up discs it comes with unreadable disc error and noisy grind and after number of attempts...

Hi

If you have flashed your xbox 360 with 1.61 firmware, have you got the Wave 4 patch disc, lot of currently released games need this disc to be run first before you run the copied games, you can check on google for the updated list of Wave 4 copy protection enabled games.

If you face problem with all copied game discs, even for older ones like Gears of War 2, Halo 3 etc then you should get the drive checked with the person from whom you have got your Xbox 360 modded

Loud noises

Depending on the age of the system, replace or ignore.
Its your DVD drive, unfortunatly most drives are noisy -FACT- so sometimes you have to just live with it- check the back ,if manfactured in 2005 ( a lot of bad drives from this year) might be worth ringing microsoft to see if an exchange is possible.-
But if its not showing any loss of play/loading or scratching the discs - or showing error- please place disc in a xbox 360 console...You may just have to put up with it.
