My xbox is making a noise when i put in a disc and some times it stops and the game plays but when i eject it it starts again also it sometimes doesnt read the disc and the unreadable disc screen comes up. Please help cause i dont think im intitled to getting it fixed now that iv'e opened it.

    i have the exact same problem.... i put the game in and it starts making a clicking sound and then it shows unreadable disc... but sometimes it doesnt make the sound and the game starts running... but if i eject it and try to play again i get the same problem.... i need some fix possibilities... this is pissing me of... i paid good money for the xbox and not only me but a lot of people are complainig about having problems... its not right!!!

Well, with xbox I'm not to sure, but play station2 my son stepped on his and it didn't read the disk that was in it, but it played others, just is very noisy now, you could try contacting microsoft, they are very helpful with refunds -

Disc keeps ejecting
Sounds like your disc drive is malfunctioning. Honestly the only thing i could possibly think of is that the button for the disc drive could've gotten stuck and opens the 360 by any sudden movements.

hi guys i had the same problem until i tryed somthing note:(this solution works for benq/phillps hard drives only) first when you open your hard drive you will see two screws behind the lens just turn them to left close your xbox the TADA!!!! tell me if it works.

Doesnt read my discs
This happens to me sometimes as well, but usually it's very infrequent, and happens mostly with old original xbox games.

Basically, the xbox is just temporarily confused. Just eject and reinsert the disc and try again. Usually, the second try always worked for me. If that won't work, simply reboot the xbox with the disc in the drive. Now try to run the game.

Clicking noise
The only way to fix it is to open up the disc drive and reset the the mechanism that sets the disc with the laser. As the system draws the disc in, it also raises the laser unit that is hooked to a gear driven mechinism. Sometimes when dropped, kicked, smacked...etc, the gears can come off of alignment. It's a pain to repair but really not that hard. You really need some patience and a to be carefull not to damage anything. Hope this helps.

ok m8 my mate had this problem what we found out was becouse he was playing a copyed disc on his xbox the xbox server cut him of from playing sertin games he could not play any ea games full stop untill he went and got a new xbox
