Liebherr CS2062 Bottom Freezer French Door Refrigerator Logo
Kristine Frassett Posted on Sep 18, 2013

I have a Liebherr free standing french door frig (two freezer drawers). The plastic component that shapes the ice cubes has fallen out of the ice maker into the ice receptacle below. I don't know how to reattach.

I don't know about this ice maker, but you could always check the Owner's Manual (either the one that came with fridge, or an online copy) for re-attachment info. That's something basic that the manual may very well cover.

SOURCE: Liebherr bio fresh fridge/freezer model

This ice maker can be cycled manually to help determine the problem. To cycle this ice maker, pull the front cover off of the ice maker. You will now have access to the module which has some test terminals marked on it (I'm sending you a picture). Using a well insulated jumper, place it between T-H and the ice maker should start to cycle.

Be careful this is a hot (live) check. If the ice maker starts, after about 5 seconds remove the jumper. It will take a few minutes for it to break the ice free and if it cycles completely and refills the ice maker will need to be replaced. This indicates it's not starting on its own. If it just stops on the ice, the mold heater may be open. You should be able to feel the bottom of the ice maker to see if it's getting warm but be careful, if you touch the mold heater, it can be very hot. If the mold heater is not hot, again the ice maker will need to be replaced. If the ice maker never cycles with the jumper, there may not be any voltage getting to the ice maker. Some voltage checks will need to be made and a technician will be needed to make these checks.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: I have a liebherr refregirator

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.
Check Temp inside freezer. It has to be down to about 10 or 15 degrees
This can cause slow ice making if its too high even tho its freezing everything else at 25 degrees
See if water is in icemaker.
Pour water in Ice Maker and wait to see if it ejects.
If it ejects thenyou need to replace water valve in rear bottom of fridge(Its the part that
attaches to water line out of wall)
If it doesn't eject then it is a faulty Ice Maker.
If its leaking or no water at icemaker or door either one, then the valve at the rear bottom of ref needs replacing
First I would check the fan in the freezer. Listen to see if it is running
It moves air to the ref from the freezer
Then check to see if freezer control is turned WARMER, which makes the Ref. colder
Also if it is getting drinking water to the door but not to the icemaker (or vice versa) Then you need to replace
the water valve at the bottom rear of the fridge. It is a double valve and one side is not working
Also this might be a common Defrost problem, Ice
is not being melted by the defrost system. The fan can't blow through the coils into the fridge.
Take out back panel of freezer to check for ice buildup. The coils should be clean.
There are three components to a defrost system- a heater, heater thermostat, and a timer unless you have a defrost electronic card.
Its best handled by a Technician but you could possibly do it by taking your model number to the nearest appliance parts store and asking for the parts. They are mostly located in freezer ,behind back panel on freezer coils.except the card which is usually located in ref The parts store will have info
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

SOURCE: My Liebherr ign 2566 freezer

Hello there,
You need to check the water inlet valve, it is having a problem, it is not shutting close after filling the ice maker with water. It is already defective hereby causing water to pour out into the tray therefore producing the big slab of frozen water.
You will have to test and replace the water inlet valve. That way, it will stop pouring water into the already made ice that is in the tray.
Hope this helped. All the best Elect_Comp

Ice cube dispenser

make sure the ice maker lever is in the down position, when removing the tray the arm was probably moved to the top(off) position as if the tray was actually full which would shut off the ice making process

The ice maker drawer was left open a crack and the ice froze up and now it will not produce ice

Hi. Use a hair blow dryer to thaw out the ice maker. Remove all of the ice, warm up the tubes, be sure the ice cube molds are ice free. THEN close the door and let it make ice. The first set of new cubes will take a long time, often up to 24 hours. Joe

I got a new french door frig and it wont make ice CUBES. It makes ice and even though the indicator says cubed ice, it comes out crushed. Is there a way to fix this easily. Otherwise i like the frig very...

Try removing the ice bucket and ensure that there is no obstruction (ice cubes stuck inside of metal blades). If no obstruction, then your problem may be in the electronic dispenser control board (if applicable) that distinguishes between cubed and crushed ice. If it appears that the problem is the board, then contact an appliance service company.

Maytag MFD2560HES - water flow restricted - noisy fridge

The flow of water is controlled by a solenoid. Thus magnetic -- rather electromagnet which mones the vale from open & close, both in the ice-maker & the water dispenser.
Thus the valve which is activated when door closes, must have lost its earlier condition and must be making an irritable buzz whenever its on. Simply get the Valve assembly replaced, preferably from their authorized service center closest to your place of residence.
