Whats the problem when my GE front loader reads 2H?

check your water lines could be clogged or not even turned on at the valve behind it, also might be not enough pressure in line to make it work

I know the page says GE front loader but replacing the door gasket is the same.

Yes you should see it - and call an electrician they can legally disconnect the "water saver" or adjust it safely

you should run a empty load with bleach but no detergent every month or so to clean the washer, I also recommend cleaning the boot (door gasket) every couple of loads with windex or other cleaner. also every load check inside the bottom of the boot and make sure the drain holes (x3) are clear of lint, etc. this is normal maintenance for any front loader. GE is a very good brand and is my preferred brand, I repair appliances everyday, Whirlpool keeps me busy. I have GE front loaders in my house.
2nd poster, you will need a door hinge for this most likely. Not too hard.

I have 3L diesel manual gear 2000. Happened once after the FWD vaccumed operated fork mechanism in the front axle got a very small kick and bent very little. This happened by some sand that entered between the front plate protection and theFWD mechanism. I had to opeb and ground the shaft end. Vaccum was OK.

You don't have to do the soaking. Use powders for 'front loading machines'. Read your users' manual. There will be settings for woolen clothes, cottons, quick wash, long wash,etc......
