Zoom focus Stuck zoomed, not a problem with focus or zoom ring, it gives no option to unzoom in the settings

When the camera is set to autofocus, let the camera do the focusing. If you want to focus manually, turn off the autofocus so you can turn the focusing ring.

Please check the setting on the dial you are using? Return it to AUTO first and try to zoom again.

You can zoom and unzoom while in Movie Mode, but not while recording.  Sorry :(

Try going to the tv's menu under video settings.

Are you sure it's the zoom ring that's stuck, and not the focus ring? The focus ring doesn't move when the camera is in autofocus.
If it's indeed the zoom ring that's stuck, you can spend more money than the lens is worth in repairs, or buy a replacement (circa 35 dollars on ebay) for dreadfully cheap. Good luck.

There is no secret locking switch. If a little gentle jiggling doesn't free the zoom ring, then I can only suggest you take it in to a reputable camera shop for a Clean-Lubricate-Adjust (CLA).

As stated on page 145 of the A2 manual: "When using this camera with the optional supplementary lenses, the accessory must be specified in section 5 of the setup menu. For more information on the Wide-angle Converter ACW-100 or Telephoto Converter ACT-100, contact your local Konica Minolta dealer. A firmware update is provided with these products to activate this option."
