I had my Beko fridge for 1 year and 2 months same thing its all switched on but food has defrosted a bubbling like noise from the back only a years warranty payed £300 for this what a waste I have scrapped it .....

  • Anonymous Apr 28, 2009

Bubbling at the back and everything defrosted, luckily saved the frozen food in time. think it's a bit unreasonable for a fridge freezer to last only 2years 3 months. and I didn't take out the 3 year extended warranty. A fridge should last longer than this! I will be persuing this with beko because as I said it is unreasonable!

BEKO fridge freezer just over 12 months old noticed not cooling or freezing, the light still works. Only noise is a bubbling sound from the back. I will be getting in touch with BEKO as i think this product should last a bit longer than a few months

went to fridge, Beko like the others, CDA653F cost £349, about 18 months old now, freezer goods all defrosted? Has been 24hrs now and still nothing happening, even noticed fridge part seems to not be working too? Have turned it off and back on, motors running, light in fridge works and fan in freezer not moving, like someone else though, am not sure if this should be continuous or not anyways?

Got no idea what to do about it? Freezer and fridge pretty well stocked too so not happy at all!!!

Yes it can b fixed is the fridge running ? if it is it will need re gasing which is a common fault with beko and you should not pay more than £40 for the re gas if it is not running it will b either your thermastat which again you should nt pay more than £48 4 or the compressor which will b aprox £120 supply and fit none of the above should b done by a novice good luck

If your freezer is still working but you fridge is not cooling try looking at the vents in the freezer if they are frozen up this will stop the fridge getting cool air , defrost the whole unit and see what happens its worth a try before you call out a repair man ,by the wat i have a beko american style fridge freezer, and had no faults showing on my digital display.

Beko Integrated Fridge Freezer | BCSD173. How to remove the protective panel on Beko fridge freezer please?

Question edited for clarity, maker name spelling.
Question moved to Beko.

If you go to this page

https://www.ransomspares.co.uk/parts/brands/beko/fridges-freezers/bcsd173%20(7519020007)/

scroll down to Thermostat and then
It shows the thermostat, the housing and the knob. It Iooks like it probably has catches that lock into those slots on the sides. Put something like a butter knife in the side to release them and pull gently.

Fridge too cold.Freezer OK.

You probably have an issue with one of the following:

* temperature control assembly (controls freezer and/or fresh food temperatures)
* damper assembly (allows air from freezer to fresh food compartment)

Contact an appliance service company.

THE MAIN FRIDGE IS NOT WORKING, THE TEMPERATURE SEEMS TO BE VERY WARM. THE LIGHT INSIDE THE FRIDGE IS WORKING OK AND SO IS THE SOUNDER WHEN THE DOOR IS LEFT OPEN.

Listen for the fan that is in the freezer section. The fridge part relies on the freezer fan to get it's cold air. Only the freezer section gets cold...the fan in the freezer blows cold air through ducting to the fridge to get it cool. Either the fan is bad or the air ducting to the fridge is restricted by ice. If the airway is restricted by ice then your defrost timer is bad. Good luck.

Our beko frost free fridge freezer has stopped freezing. The fan is working and the freezer section cold but not cold enough. Thermostat is in the fridge - the fridge is icing up.

the thermostat in the fridge is turning off your compressor before the freezer has completed its job.this is because it doesnt care about the freezer temperature only the temperature where its located in this case the fridge, try completely defrosting the fridge and restarting it
