My fridge is running but the top portion is not cold. The freezer seems to be working appropriately though. what should I do?

Why are only drawers in fridge cold & not making ice?

Contact a professional. Sounds like either your damper door is not operating correctly and not letting enough cool air from the freezer enter, or there is an air leak that is making ice form .

Hotpoint Iced Diamond fridge freezer, fridge seems to be working OK, but freezer not getting cold. Compressor runs OK but cuts out when fridge gets to temp, even though freezer is not cold

In case the freezer not getting cold. maybe the tube is leaking .the freon gas scape. or your compessor is defective

Freezer works, but fridge doesn't

try checking the fan in the freezer at the top which pushes the coldness over to the freezer

Ice maker stopped working, plus fridge not cold, but freezer o.k.

I would check that fan motor in the freezer section is running. it distributes cold air from freezer into refrig section also if this motor is running the top portion of freezer will not get cold enough to allow ice production. the motor is easy to repl and is mod# specific you should be able to buy one online.

Fridge not cooling- top freezer frosting over

"Fan in freezer does not seem to be running"

This wiil cause it to frost up in the freezer and this fan is the only way to get cold air into the Fridge area.

yes probably the a.d.c. but make sure all ice is defrosted from evap. coil. remove the freezer panel and use heat gun or hair dryer.
