Auto on Could you please tell me how to set the auto-on. I cant seem to get it to work.

The auto lock is just a setting you make to have it lock or not when you start Off. You computer is probably now set to no auto lock. You didn't say what year your vehicle is, so I cant tell exactly the programming method. It is in the vehicle owners manual. Probably someone was playing with the controls

some of the newer cars have what is called limp mode. your problem sounds like it should be showing a code. take it to your local auto supply store or sears auto center for a free code readout then return here with the code.

if you are having trouble setting the clock times etc this is probably down to a worn bit generator this is the knob you turn to set the time they get dirty when using oven or grill and wont operate properly,the clock will need changing im afraid as there no way to open the clock without destroying it.

Camera test mode:
Press *#36287# key string in the dial screen to enter camera test mode -
[1] Auto focus [On]
[2] ISP firmware write
[3] ISP firmware version check

[1] Press the "1" key to disable auto focus. In order to enable auto focus, press the "1" key again.

The beep and no shutter action is usually because the auto focus is not focused. If you are using a zoom lens try backing up or unzooming a little.

Your 'mechanic' may have blown a fuse during the installation. To check them, you really should buy a cheap digital multimeter; they are easy to use and can be had for < $20 US. Sometimes the fuses don't 'blow' bad enough to see that the fuse element is broken but a meter will tell you if they conduct or not.

I have a Sanyo VPC-S3 camera old now I know, but my main problem is with focusing, all the pictures come out very blury, you cant easily tell what the subject is.

I have tried all the setting Both Manyal, and full auto, and the focus does not seam to make any differance noi matter what I do.

Please help.
