Will not power "on", will not charge

I'm bewildered. 5 months into owning this new phone a call came in, the screen went black, and now it does not charge and does not power up. There's been no trauma to the device.
Six months of warranty left but Moto has sent it back to me twice unrepaired!
I've been told it may need to be re-flashed OR there may be a faulty resistor. I'm torqued and would really like to get this thing back up and running. Anyone with specifics??

Did the phone fall on water? Is the charger and USB cable still working properly? Notice that if the phone cannot charge, the battery will be dead and the phone cannot power on.

Try pressing and holding vol up+ power or vol down + power for about 10 seconds. vold up+home+power is an alternative depending what phone it is. If not it's most likely fried or screen went out

Boost warp 4g won't turn back on and when it is on, the screen glitches and goes black every time I plug it in to charge.

never charge batteries that long usually only 3to5 hours if ni-cd . most batteries last 3 or 4 years . totally discharge pack and try to charge again . if nothing buy new battery pack

My iphone wont turn on or charge!!

That happened to me. Push the home and on/off buttons simultaneously until the apple logo appears, then wait until it has fully restored the system. This should work. Good luck

Hi,
Seems like an electrical shortcut about the screen lighting, looks like you might need a replacement for this (if it is indeed a short somewhere, you're going to be pretty hard pressed finding)
Better call your carrier.....(as you says that is a new phone they replace it with new one)

I have a solution. Call at&t. they will send you a new one. I have had my phone for 5 months and it happened to me also. There's a warranty on the phone itself that covers it from the day "you" started using it. I bought mine from a friend. Cool!! It should be here in 5 days free shipping.
