Envision flat-screen computer monitors come with a "native" resolution, which is the resolution that exactly matches the number of pixels included on the monitor. Setting the resolution to the native standard will therefore produce the best image quality. You can utilize the display properties tools in your computer's operating system to fix your Envision monitor's resolution.

Hi there my acer aspire 4315 laptop turns all white when i turn on my laptop?? i dont know why this does this??? but i have sent it to a expert but they didnt fix it at all. i often fold the screen down...

At least you know the back-light works. There is a ribbon cable that connects the video to the LCD screen from the lower part of the laptop - sometimes it wears out because it is not properly seated, then it breaks. Try connecting an external monitor to the VGA port and see if you get the same symptom. If it works ok, then that ribbon cable is broke.

The picture on my monitor is limited - it's not stretched to fit the whole screen. How do I fix this?

Establish what the recommended (native) resolution of your monitor is, and set the display resolution of your computer to the same values (in Windows right click an empty area of desktop, choose Properties, Settings tab, move resolution slider to the right to the right until proper values are set, confirm).
If you can't set the resolution to more than 800x600, it means that you need to install a driver for your graphics card.

Image set up of screen is only half of the monitor

If you v-size is already at 100% then the issue is with the picture being sent to the monitor. Based upon what kind of input you have for the monitor there is a number of different ways to fix this. I will assume you are using the monitor with a desktop computer. If this is for XP, then there is a simple fix as follows, adjusting your display properties:
Right-click on your desktop background and then click on "Properties" this will open up a new window. Select the "Settings" tab, then drag the green arrow in the "Screen Resolution" field to the desired setting. Since you have a "widescreen set-up" you more than likely have a resolution where the first number is about twice the second number...they should be close to even to have a square image (bigger numbers show more detail than smaller numbers).
Hope this helps!

Trying to get the screen size fixed properly. screen needs to be set at 1680x1050. It is making pictures look fat

u need to check if ur monitor is capable of handling 1680x1050...resolution
go to Desktop/right click on desktop/go to properties/settings.../in the screen resolution optopn/do u c a slider than has option to select ur 1680x1050
if it has then chose that and click OK....
if ur monitor can show that resolution it will give ua msg else u wont..
mind it...a higher resolution and change regresh freq rate can spoil ur monitor....
so be careful while doing this

Screen Shakes on High Resolutions

your rate of refresh is too high, it's refreshing too fast, you need to lower the screen resolution. keep in mind, the tv resolution is much much smaller than a computer monitor. a computer monitor has much higher resolution. so Tv can only handle so much in resolution. if you need a better picture, it always the best to buy a monitor, not a tv for computer to get a good picture. if you have any more questions, let me know.
