The pump is supposedly self cleaning.

There's a 'pre-chamber' behind a panel at the bottom on the front. The top of the panel should tilt forward & up. Turn the 'pre-chamber' anti clockwise, after putting a shallow tray under it to catch the small amount of water that may be there.

I think I have a pdf manual (found on web somewhere) on another computer, I'll have a look & send it to you if you can give me an email address.

OE error code indicates that the washer is unable to drain the water it used during the wash cycle. OE can be triggered by a kinked drain hose or a clogged drain pump filter..... please clean drain hose back side of washing machine.. Thank you

Hi davidandsall,

Before it can Spin (The last part of any cycle), it would need to drain the water first. Your machine is stock on that particular position, most likely because of a clog in the Drain Filter compartment.
You will need to clean it.

Please follow my below Tip on how to do it:

ACCESS, DRAIN & CLEAN THE DRAIN PUMP FILTER

CRYSTAL LORD 909 not dry spinning or pumping out water

You're the 3rd person to log this problem in 10 minutes!!

Probably a blocked empty pump filter. Spin won't kick in until all the water is evacuated. If there is a little left, the machine will do the slow turn cycle that it does just before spin starts but not start the spin cycle because of the water in the drum.

You need to locate the filter and clean it. That should fix your problem. Once this is done, remember to keep the filter clean every few months.

Hi I have a Westpoint XQG50-604 frontloading washing machine. It's approximately 10 years old. I have 2 problems. 1. If I turn the dial of the hot water selection, it doesn't wash or start to wash...

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

1) sounds to me as if the hot water inlet valve is malfunctioning- not opening when told to so requires replacement ;-0)
2) my pre-typed general guidance notes which follow are worth carrying out!
--------------------------------------------------------
Sorry but I do not know your particular machine BUT I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!

It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

Stopping during rinse cycle . not spinning. OE light

The code OE is a draining error. The washer has sensed that the water has not completely drained all of the water within 10 minutes and will display this error code. The grinding noise you are describing is most likely a failed drain pump or clogged with foreign debris.

  1. Locate your drain pump access door on the front of the machine.
  2. Clean out the filter area.

If you are unable to resolve the issue by cleaning, I would recommend replacing the drain pump.

Nd appears onscreen

First drain out the water from the machine with a tube. You have to check your outlet filter, likely it is clogged. Clean out and refit. Your machine will not do the spin because it knows the filter is clogged.
