You have a dead short either in your breaker box or the plug in. Chances are it is your receptacle.
Thank you for trying that. You have eliminated half of the possibilites. What has happened is that there is a wire that has either come loose or has burned in two. The wire is probably touching something else which causes an immediate trip. Now take off the back panel of the washer and begin to look inside. Make sure you have unplugged it first. Trace the wires from the plug that goes into the receptacle. The plug itself may be the problem. Take it apart and see that there are no loose wires touching anything. It should all be snug. Next, follow the wires up to the terminal in back of the washer. More than likely, it is in one of these 2 places. You also can look up inside and see if any wires have come loose as well. I have tried other appliances in the power point without any problem. Have run an extension cord to another circuit from washing machine, as soon as power point turned on trips that fuse as well.
