Before it will start the brain needs to know the door is closed and locked. The door catch is connected to the brain - perhaps they are no longer communicating...

If the START / PAUSE button lights up red, the washing machine detects a malfunction. Now you should count how many times the START / PAUSE button lights up red and tell to us what kind of malfunction is being done.
Try to rapid reading of alarm codes when the appliance is in normal operating mode (e.g. during the execution of the washing
programme):
Press and hold down START/PAUSE and the nearest option button for at least two seconds: the LEDs initially switch off, and then display the flashing sequence indicating the last alarm.
LED indicator START / PAUSE with red light = indicates the first digit of the alarm code (family)
• LED indicator START / PAUSE with green light = indicates the second digit of the alarm code (internal number of the family)

Is this the first time it's happened? Normally, a washing machine door won't open if a) not enough time has passed since the end of the cycle to the door unlocking itself, in which case you'd wait till for the unlocking click. You could also just switch the machine off, then switch off the power to it, then wait for 30 seconds before switching on again. OR b) the level of water inside the drum is too high. Have you checked that it has drained properly? Or if there is any blockage in the filter (usually behind a square panel bottom front of the machine), which may need cleaning out. Or a blockage in the drainage hose (at the back and connected to your water to drain pipe). Also, on some models, where you'd access the filter (and clear the fluff out from), there is often an emergency door opening lever beside it which you have to put down. But this should be a last resort. If you do have to use it, you have to reset the machine after by switching off power, waiting for 30 seconds then switch power back on again. Hope this helps and one of them works.

Hi.
This sounds like doorlock issue.
You can access it from the door panel.
Panel has 4-6 screws.
From there you can check it with a multimeter (ohm setting).
It could also be as simple as bent door hatch, door lock not engaging with doorlock.

If the washer won't drain there might be a clogged pump or hose. It's common for small socks or other small clothing items to get into the water drain system and clog the hose leading to the pump or the pump itself. Remove the hoses from the pump in order to remove the article of clothing.

E20 means problem with drain water phase
Only two things need to be checked:
- Drain pump could be clogged or no power supply (the last means
faulty drain pump, faulty electronic or wiring between drain pump
and electronic.
- Your home drainage system (in the wall) is clogged (This is very
easy to check visually, disconnect the drain hose from your
siphon and put water in some container or in washbasin.)

Highly unlikely any damage will have been done so long as it hasnt been in use for a long time (weeks).
In a front loading washing machine, most of the mechanicals inside are held between springs at the top and dampers at the bottom. The transit bolts are used to minimse how much movement can ocour whilst the machine is in transit as excessive movement could damage the springs/dampers. When they are removed, normal movement of the mechanicals helps keep the machine stable and minmises vibration.
So, the worst that happens when the machine is used with the transit bolts in place is it vibrates alot, and possible moves about.
Remove the bolts as soon as possible and it should be fine.
