I looked up how to fix red horizontal lines on a Philips flat-screen tv. It turns out it needed the Y buffer upper replaced. I am not sure if this problem would be similar but it might help. I am also searching how to fix a fuzzy screen on a DLP tv. Hope you find what you need.
the lines are from the vertical control, theres a minor short on the vertical board if not fixed the power supply will short and whole tv will go green call repair shop and get short fixed
You are probably seeing what looks like Jail Bars (Vertical Lines evenly spaced) on the screen. If so,then the DMD chip on the DMD board is bad and needs to be replaced
