Could Not Save Call Waiting Setting

I have had my iPhone for about a week and a half and I begun to realize that I never seemed to get call waiting. At first, it didn't occur to me, but yesterday I had several messages that were left for me while I was on the phone, but I was never given the option to answer the calls before they went to voicemail. In investigating the problem, I went into the settings on the iPhone and then into the phone settings. There is a preference pane for Call Waiting and when I went in there I discovered that the Call Waiting slider was switched to off. Simple enough I would assume... I slid the switch for Call Waiting to on and the phone seemed to acknowledge the change. After about 30 seconds, a message popped up reading "Could not save call waiting setting" with a button to dismiss the message. I have tried force quitting the settings application, the phone application and hard resetting the entire device. Same result every time. I'm positive that this is an AT&T issue, but unfortunately, that means that I will have to call AT&T and talk to their idiotic staff. Has anyone else experienced and/or solved this issue? Thanks, Chad

Hi Chad....I believe that applying the iPhone Update and Patch v1.0.1 will heal your phone. Begin by connecting your iPhone to iTunes, which is your only method of retrieval for this patch, and click on the Check for Update Button on the Summary Screen, and when prompted, select Download and Install. Be prepared for the possibility of what may feel like a lifetime to compelete. This Update is Proactive, meaning, it will continue to patch, and heal your phone, until every single flaw and or slight corruption is healed, even if it must update your phone to straight-from-the-factory default condition. (don't you just love that new phone smell?) Please update your post whether your results are positive or negative so that other contributors including myself are aware of your status and/or developments.....good luck my friend

Zagg keyboard doesnt work

Mine went dead after about 3 weeks. Once I realized there was a charging port which is not IPhone, but droid type. Began charging. Would not recognize until I went to blue tooth setting and said forget device. Then turn bluetooth on and then hold bluetooth key down on for 3 seconds or so on keyboard. Then it worked. I guess dont let it run till it dies.

My touchscreen android phone hasn't turn back on for 2 weeks,is there another way of fixing it without a repair man

As you probably already know, there are almost an endless number of ways that your iPhone can come into contact with moisture. For example, recently, I had my iPhone 4 in my back pocket when it accidentally slipped out when I had my pants down using the toilet. Don't ask ! There is some good news however, and that is in most cases, a wet iPhone repair can be made without your having to buy a new one. Yes, dropped iphone in toilet is very, very common.

The terrific news is that all models of iPhones can usually be repaired after sustaining water damage, but this must be evaluated on a case by case basis (in my case, my iPhone could be repaired for a nominal charge).

Fortunately, iPhones consist of parts that can be readily swapped out for good ones. If, however, your iPhone has been fully submerged in water or other wet substances, chances are that the logic board in your iPhone has been exposed to moisture and corrosion has begun to take place.

If the logic board is damaged, the cost of the repair can get quite pricey, especially if other parts also need to be replaced on your iPhone. The logic board is the main circuit board in the iPhone that runs the operating system and stores all data on the iPhone. The logic board is not typically too expensive to replace on its own, however, coupled with other parts that might also need to be replaced, the cost for repair may run you a pretty penny..

The top half of my i phone touch-screen does not respond anymore. Has been like this for one week now. Cannot use apps on the upper half of the screen including being unable to slide to switch it off....

Sorry but your touch screen needs replacement. Take it to the apple store and see if they'll give you a replacement. If they don't there are third party iPhone Repair Services that can fix it for you. There are also free iPhone Repair guide that show you how to fix it yourself.

Dell Inspiron 6400 Battery

your miracle, most laptop batteries have a life span of 4 years tops, but that if you take care of it,but most dont realize over charging kills the cells in your battery, and if you have it plugged up make sure you go into power settings and put it on ac/dc power settings.and if you have it away from home without power, put it on best battery settings, and let the power die all the way down before recharging, that will give it a full charge lasting longer.but as for your battery it might be time for a new one
