Proscan ps35182 I have one and 2 problems whit my proscan, shot down after 1 minute. the problem before raster no signal display on the screen. after that, I can't turn ON I have no thing. Can you tel me please what can I do to fix the problem. thank you. by jeanaudiotron.

Try resetting the TV by unplugging it for at least one minute. Then, try the remote again.

1) the problem you have is lack of raster , the problem in tv has 4 phase 1) raster 2) picture 3) synch 4) sound.
2) test the power supply , check the horizontal output +125vdc ,vertical output from +80vdc, +al other circuit +12vdc, if there are missing fix it, see the diagram attached.
3) TEST the signal from tuner,i-f, detector, AGC

Follow the procedures given below to have a perfect fix for your problem.

• Press Menu button.

• Toggle across from REC Mode to setup

• Toggle down thrice from camera to setup 1

• Toggle across into sub menu

• Toggle down from four times to Initialize

• Toggle across again to the sub-menu

• Toggle up from cancel to OK

• Press center button to accept the OK choice

• Screen changes and so press okay again

• It should restart the camera

• Opening on the 'Clock Set' screen

Toggle down to cancel and use the camera and make sure that you have the camera to flash, if it works try again in the Auto function. If it is still not working dont worry follow the steps again two or three more times, As this is related to a software error message and not a hardware malfunction. If it is working then don't forget to set your Clock.

Is that diagonal thin line about 10 to 20 degree slant? And then you have a very bright raster?

Then you set the flyback(for tube tv), I think its "screen" voltage is set too high adjust it slowly to lessen the brightness. It is commonly a small pot on the side of the flyback together with the focus pot.

If you have raster turn the tv on, use insulated screw diver, then slowly turn the knob to the direction(CC or CCW) where your raster go dim.

Be careful your dealing with live and high voltage. If your not inclined on electronics better not to.

Oh BTW, set your settings to normal.

Need more information about you problem. Does the white screen appear on all functions.Does any input signal like a dvd or vcr show picture. If so, then you have a problem with signal connection coming from the television signal source, like a cable or satellite box. You need to check the connecting cables to see if they are outputting signal. Try using different cables to connect the signal source to the television. If this does not work. Try hooking up the signal source to another television to make sure you are receiving signal from them.If all this seems to be working fine and you are sure that you are using the remote control inputs correctly, you may have a problem the video input signal board on the television. First try another signal input like a DVD player or other source, is the signal displayed ok? Then you have lost the signal on one input from whatever the device is.

your monitor is telling you it's on it's last legs..either that or your compaq has a bad video section. either is more vital than a video cable being loose.

The flex cable is damaged, it needs to be replaced. It is what connects the motherboard to the lcd screen in your phone. I had to replace one not to long ago and it had the same problem and now it works. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!!!!

1. White raster with no signal, washed out looking video with signal. Access the service menu, "menu 0357" use the audio button to select "video chroma" adjustments, use the video button to select item "40 - AGIW", use the adjust button to change the setting to 0, then press the enter button to store the change.
