I have a ge harmony profile electric dryer. One day just quit working. Acts like it is unplugged. I went on line and someone said to replace a small part it is white about 3 inches by 2 inches that lies under the option panel. I replaced that part and it worked for two cycles and started doing the same thing. I am suspicious that it over heated and something needs to be reset but I dont know where the reset button is. Might be a blown fuse at this time but dont know. So what now. dryer bout 5 years old never had any other problem

PCB is probably the printed circuit board. you'll need the model# off the dryer (not from the manual), then go to GE's website to get an idea of the cost ($150-200). It's located under the control panel of the dryer. GE calls it 'PWR/PCB ASM-MAIN'.
Is the dryer still under warranty?

not sure of a reset button there maybe a fuse on the controller board What is the problem you are having??

remove the vent on the dryer that goes to the outside start the dryer if it continues to ru n and not cut off you have a venting problem of the house

if it cuts off after 5 mins with the vent off you have a motor that is going bad

Remove back of dryer and take out the elament shield and replace element don't over strech it start at one side and work it around thank you for useing fixya rate me

Do this.

press "Home"
press "Help"
press both "My Cycles" and "Back" at the same time and hold them until service mode pops up.
It will tell you what's wrong.
