Heating problem is most likely caused by one strand of your heating element is burned out. Heating element will have to be replaced if that's the case. Noise you are hearing is most likely coming from worn front and / or back bearing. Dryer has to be completely disassembled for either repair.
The tear is due to a poor argon weld of the dryer drum. Check the owner's manual regarding any warranty details. Call the customer assistance line regarding this issue. Have your model and serial number ready for them to assist you. The tear in the drum is causing the blower on the dryer to pull air thru the tear in the drum instead of thru the rear inlet duct which draws the heat into the dryer. This results in abnormally long dry times due to no heat passing thru the drum.
you should not have heat when motor stops there is a switch in the motor to shut the element off....yours is not working(you could burn your house)replace the motor. PLEASE DO NOT TRY IT AGAIN...can't be lucky all the time
Remove back of dryer and take out the elament shield and replace element don't over strech it start at one side and work it around thank you for useing fixya rate me
Possible Solution... When you get message first try turning off. Open door spin drum one or two times. Close door. Power back on/start. Works for our problem. Post if this helps.
