Water runs out, but does not spin, nor dry the clothes. Motor is good.
SOURCE: don't spin or drain
Hi, just wanted to let you know we have a simliar prob. found out today that it was the water pump. I removed it and was checking it out . when i turned it over i found out that the bearing sleeve seperated and the loose bearings stopped the pump from working. and wouldn't allow the washer to spin. most places i checked so far the replacement assembly will run approx. 80.00 +/- plus tax.

SOURCE: Admiral machine will agitate, but will not drain or spin
Agitating and Spinning are from one motor. Pumping is not controlled by the same motor. If the pump is bad, it won't pump. Pump can be checked by measure the resistance of its terminal, and its measurement should not be open. If pump is good then the problem is from the pump controller. If pump is bad, then you know what to do.
SOURCE: My admiral washing machine will not drain.
While you have it all apart, look into the pump. Does it appear to be clogged with anything? Does it appear to be intact? No broken blades or worn down parts? If it does not appear broken, put it back together. Leave the panel off and cycle the machine through all it's functions and see if the motor is running at all, you may have to fill it (use small load function) to get it to work unless you know how to bypass the water level switch (I will not tell you how as it would take too long). I'm not 100% sure on this but believe the pump works when motor goes one direction and the gear box works when motor runs the other (varies from machine to machine and I am not an appliance tech) and if your motor is not able to run both ways it will not pump out or spin either. You didn't mention spin so suspect it didn't get that far.
