Frigidaire Dishwashers - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

The Frigidaire Appliances company designed most of its dishwashers to visually alert and display to users that the door is ajar, via the "CL" code. The dishwasher won't start pumping in hot water or rotating the spray arms until the door is secure.

I had the same problem. I pressed the "Start Cancel" button, kept it down, then pressed "Rinse Only" button. The display then went clear. I pressed "Start Cancel" again, then "83" showed up on the display. I let it run its cycle, then it corrected itself. A little scary, but it worked. This answer board is great!

It is very easy Resetting the Dishwasher. Hold down the cancel button for at least 3 seconds. Find the cancel button on the far-right side of the control panel. To reset the dishwasher, hold this button down for 3 seconds or until the light display disappears or changes.

I just addressed a iCO error code on my 2 week old Frigidaire Gallery DW. I reset the circuit breaker as recommended online and it worked fine for another few days and then came back. Customer service cannot tell me what the error code means. They WILL NOT replace the DW, rather want to schedule a service appointment. I have no desire to repair a new DW so I am receiving a refund from the retailer I purchased from. On to the next brand!

Good Afternoon Stacy, I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire dishwasher, model# FGHD2433KF1, showing an error EU. I also see that you have had a technician out who stated that there was no vent inside the unit. I would start by contacting the manufacturer, to see if you are in warranty, and if not, if there is any assistance they can provide to you. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

Check to make sure you are not blocking the soap dispenser door with a large platter or pan in front of it. The water will not be able to wash out of it.....

Possible solution. I had the same problem of "washing" light flashing last year and now today. Warranty has been expired for awhile, so no harm in trying. What worked for my situation was removing the six screws for the back of the plastic control cover. Take of the plastic cover. There are are two connectors to the HANDLE with white and black wires. To be safe I would shut off the ciruit to the dishwasher. Safety first. Carefully disconnect and inspect the contacts inside the connectors. Do not insert any metal objects if you left the power on. I believe that the moisture from the dishwasher can degrade the connectivity. I cleaned the contacts with q-tips and re-installed. Be careful to not bend the contacts. If you had sound, you could hear my dishwasher running. Total cost is about three cents. I believe that the connectors do not full close when corroded, which prevents the completion of the circuit to the controlls. The flashing light indicates that the door is open, when in fact it is closed. Hopefully this will help someone. Semper Fi

Cannot be answered with the information provided. Need the serial number from the manufacturer's plate, which will probably tell you the year of manufacture. Here is a link to Frigidaire: https://www.frigidaire.com/Owner-Center/Product-Support--Manuals/?productCode=FFBD2406NB

Sounds like you have a stuck relay (or shorted triac) on the main control board, which means you will have to replace the control board.
