Try uninstalling it

If it still is under warranty, bring it back to get it fixed! Until then, you can use Assistive Touch to be able to use your phone without problems.
Assistive Touch can be found under Settings>General>Accessibility>Assistive Touch

Try going to settings, then choose sounds. Try adjusting your volume by sliding the volume bar left to right.
You can also go to general, choose accessibility, then scroll down to assistive touch. Turn on assistive touch. That will put a small icon on your iPhones touch screen. You can turn your volume on or off through this button, you can also adjust your volume up or down through this. Hope this helps!

I don't know about replacing it but you can use Assistive Touch ( Settings/ General / Accessibility / Assistive Touch on ). If your iPhone is jailbroken , activator is the best.

To calibrate the touchscreen on a nuvi 300 or 600 series:

1. Power the unit On.

2. From the Where to? / View map screen, touch Settings (wrench icon).

3. Touch Display.

4. Touch Recalibrate.

5. A new screen will display that says Press Dot.

6. Touch the center of the dot.

7. Keep touching the center of the dot as it moves around the screen.

8. When Calibration Complete appears on the screen, please touch OK.

The touch-screen will now be recalibrated.

Setting the language
You can set a desired subtitle, audio and menu
language. If the selected language is recorded on
the Disc, subtitles, audio and menu are displayed
in that language.
1 Touch “Language” and then touch
“Subtitle Language”, “Audio Language”
or “Menu Language”.
Each language menu is displayed and the currently
set language is selected.
2 Touch the desired language.
When you select “Others”, a language code
input display is shown. Input the four digit
code of the desired language then touch
“Enter”.

Setting assist subtitles on or off
Assist subtitles offer explanations for the aurally
impaired. However, they are only displayed if they
are recorded on the DVD.
You can turn assist subtitles on or off as desired.
1 Touch “Assist Subtitle”.
Touching “Assist Subtitle” switches
between “On” and “Off”.
