If the streaks are limited to a single colour, the problem is likely to be THAT colour TONER CARTRIDGE.
A problem with the DRUM UNIT (only a single drum in this printer) or the TRASNSFER DRUM , or BELT (this printer has both a transfer drum and a belt), would affect ALL colours.
What do you mean by alignment? If you mean that the colours are misaligned, run a fullcalibration. Repeat it three times and then try your printing. If bits of the business cards were left in the printer - it should affect the colour printing as well as B + W. You would also be getting paper jams.
According to this site, Windows 7 drivers are available for the Xerox Docucolor 4CP printer.
What operating system are you using?
Also, is it possible that your color toner has been depleted?
According to the HP Service manual, there is no 54.18 error.

It is most likely that you have a faulty Toner Cartridge.
Make sure you have the latest Firmware installed on your printer, this can be found at HP.COM/SUPPORT/CLJ2605. It sounds as though the problem you are experiencing is Colour Pane Registration problems. If you have the latest Firmware, then tryturning on Registration (Configure Device>Print Quality>Optimize) and perform 3 calibrations in a row. If the calibrations take more than a few minutes each, check the error log (Diagnostics>Print error log) for any CPR errors. You may need a replacement Laser unit.
There is an override sequence and it works well. Press the select button (checkmark) to indicate Main menu. Press right-arrow (RA) to select System Setup. Press Select , then RA to Print Quality, Hit select. RA to Replace supplies and hit Select. Now, RA to Override Out and Select. Confirm with Select again. Your 2600n will now run even with an empty toner cartridge.
