Oven has three modes: 1) oven mode cycles elements on and off to maintain a specific temp setting for up to 60 min. 2) toast should keep all elements on for a few min. 3) broil mode top elements only always on, up to 60 min. Make sure you have dials in correct position and use the toast timer.

B & D toaster ovens are not meant to be repaired because the lawyers told them there is too much risk. They won't sell you or distributors spare parts.

Al, your switch is likely a DKJ/1-60. As you know you can\'t find one, however there is a switch that will fix your oven. It\'s part # 05XDE5218104600 and is made for Delonghi ovens. It looks the same as the DKJ/1-60 and works the same. Get it at The Gourmet Depot website for $10 + shipping
I have a Black & Decker CT0649 toaster oven. The timer switch on the toast control does not work and I took it out and took it apart. There is no way I can put is back together. Black and Decker will not sell me a new one! If you have a broken Black & Decker CTO649 I would be interested in purchasing the two timer switches in it before you through it out, $5.00/each. I don't know if you can fix it but if you are good at basic diagnosis you can take off the right side and see if the toast latch is broken or perhaps out of place. This type of unit is not so easy to take apart and put back together. The parts fit is a bit strange.
