Follow this solution below, or use a paperclip inserted into the tray hole and it will open for a temporary measure, or go to your drive in my computer, right click and select eject and see if it will open. Try also uninstaling your dvd in system properties, by right clicking and select delete, then restart pc to see if it's found again, but when the pc boots it should check the drive, you will notice the light on front of dvd light up, if not there is no power or the dvd is dead.

How to get a dvd tray unstuck

There are two ways to open the CD/DVD drive door if the button just below the drive tray does not work.
Go to My Computer and right click on the drive and click on Eject.
If this does not work then you can manually open the CD/DVD drive tray by -
Straighten a paper clip and gently insert it into a tiny hole below the drive tray next to the Eject button. Push the paper clip gently until the drive tray pops out, then pull the tray until it is fully out, then you can remove the CD/DVD disc.
If you still having problem opening with the Eject button, then the CD/DVD drive is faulty and needs replacing.

The tray on DVD won't open when pressing OPEN button DVD/CD is inside

Often the tray is powered by a rubber belt. If the latter breaks or slips the try will not open/close. The motor will work and tell the electronics that all is well because it has done its job but it really hasn't since the tray is inert!

CD DOOR WON'T OPEN

Just below the CD/DVD tray there is a tiny hole. Insert a straighten paper clip in this hole and gently push the paper clip until the CD/DVD tray pops out. You can now pull the tray out until it is in the fully opened position to remove the disc.
Try pushing the eject button to see if the tray closes, then push the eject button to see if the tray opens.
If this foes not work then the CD/DVD drive is faulty and it needs to be replaced.

CD tray not opeing

Perhaps it didn't fully latch so the CD drive doesn't think it's closed? Try opening and closing the door manually by straightening out a paperclip, then inserting it into the little hole in the front of the CD door. That should open it. Once open, close it and see if it will now open when you press the Open/Close button.
