Tag info is embedded in the file so your question makes no sense. Try reading the raw data from the DVD using something like isobuster software

The drive mechanism is going bad and needs a replacement. Rather than going through the cost of replacement, I suggest you go to Walmart Electronics section and get an Exterior USB DVD drive for about $20-30 dollars. Any easy fix.

I have a hp pavillion laptop with the philips dvd-ram sdvd8821

Just try to reinstall the DVD driver software through the Add Hardware wizard at the control panel. From the Start menu, left click the Control Panel, and the Add Hardware. Right to left click to open. Just follow the instructions and let your PC do the rest. If you have an internet, connect your PC without opening any window. Your PC will autoconnect and search the internet for the proper software driver. Wait for
a few minutes, until it is installed. Hope this Help.

Try cleaning the laser. If that fails, see if the drive is connecting with the motherboard correctly (this may involve removing the keyboard). And if you can get your hands on another drive test it.

I have an Acer all in one computer and cannot find

Depending on which Acer all in one you have, some come without and some come with. Some i have seen the dvd drive in front of monitor or on sides. just drag your finger all around pressing each button if any and see if pops out and if not then you don't have a dvd player.
I would just get a external dvd with usb and just hook that up.

I have an acer 3610 and don't seem to be able to

For the price of a new drive, I would replace it. This is assuming that it was working in this machine before. You should also try to open it with the button on the front, but use it as the system is booting. It is possible that the problem is in your PC/ operating system.

How do you open cd drive on acer laptop

hi, look on the F key row and look for an icon that looks like a cd drawer, now press and hold down your Fn Key and the corresponding F key and the cdrom should pop out, another thing to try is to look for a small hole on the cd draw , small enough for a paper clip to fit in it if straightened, if you see on, straighten a paperclip and insert it, it will manually release the cd tray

good luck!

My dvd will not eject from my e drive

You can manually eject the disc by straightening a paper clip and insert it into a small hole just below the disc tray. Gently push the paper clip into this hole and the disc tray will unlock and pop out. You can now pull the disc tray until the tray is fully opened and this will allow you to remove the DVD disc.
