Refrigerator door has stopped closing automatically

We have NOT moved the refrigerator. Nothing has changed.
This is a Whirlpool side-by-side Refrigerator Model #ED25RFXFNOO. Not sure if that matches up to the product listed below as the info on our refrigerator says it is a 25.2 cu. ft.
Thanks for your help. Jan from Tucson

my door fell off and with the bolt coming out. Put the bolt back in and it worked for a couple weeks. Now the doot just won't stay closed. I now use a bunge cord and/or duct tape to have it stay closed. This is not the same frig but one with a top freezer and bottom frig. The bottom door is the problem.

You may have a worn door bearing.  Have a look.  Both sides have the same hinge assembly for comparison.  Also possible that the hinges have come loose.
Clean out the hinge by spraying on a little WD 40 first...it may fix everything.

Whirlpool side by side refrigerator door not closing by itself. Ideas?

The lower hinge on each door may have a door closing cam. It raises the door up ¼ inch when opening and this assist in closing the door. If it’s wore out and doesn’t work the door may not seal and the gasket can be damaged. Watch the operation of the door to see if it rises up when opened.

Refrigerator door won't stay closed

Pull on the gaskets some times they are broken and will take up moore room that when correctly aligned. especially on the side of the door where the hinges are. Inspect thehinges also see of brackets are loose. If the gasket is bunched up on the hinge side try duct taping them down and retry the door. If this corrects problem replace door gaskets. If a plastic grommet is missing in the door it will nolt align correctly and you will be able to pick up on the outer corner of the door and it will wobel and be loose on the hinge. ReplACE THE GROMETS and retest and align as nessary.
