Hi have you tried switching the gogear on and at the same time holding in the volume raise (+) bar keep this bar depressed till the screen changes, could be upwards 50 secs

It seems that the firmware has got corrupted. It needs re-installing the same. Please reinstall the firmware over the internet. Connect the phone to the computer after fully charging its battery and then fire up the PC Suite and back up the data and then update the firmware.
Check the back, behind the battery.
There is a water indicator decal on the back. Its white, or red if its gotten wet.
If not, try a different battery.
