Steps to Reset Settings
This resets the phone to factory default settings.
- Press OK key for Menu.
- Press right navigation key twice to Select Settings & Tools.
- Press 5 or Phone Settings.
- Press 5 or Security.
- Enter lock code, then press OK. The default lock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
- Press 3 or Reset Default.
- Press OK, select Revert then press OK.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you
are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.

If you cant find a cable you can always get a bluetooth adaptor and send your phots via bluetooth from your phone to your computer,

wife had similar problem. local verizon store technician asked her if she used a headset - when headset is used external audio is muted - seems, somehow, the phone was "stuck" in headset mode even after the headset had been removed. solution was to re-plug in the headset and remove is slowly. hope this helps.
