I don't have a solution, but do have the same problem on my 760. If I were to send it to you, what is your billing rate?
Ed... Does the gps receive the signal? When you view the menu under options/configuration/diagnostics/GPS Status... how many channels are receiving SNR? At your own risk of course... You could take your unit apart and ensure that the RF cable is still plugged into the main board and the I/O Board... umm.. make sure the gold sheildings where your antenna attaches aren't bent in/out/missing.. listen for peices floating around in your unit... always a bad sign. Good Luck Ed.. and sending it here to Tx isn't THAT bad of an idea.. if the repair's worth it. We treat the units nice.. I promise. :) -Dan

the same problem occured with my 760-I shipped it back with a pre-payment of $140 to have it returned with the same problem-many phone calls later-with poor communication due to their poor english- I just received a miestro 4010 unit- I paid $ 1013 for my 760--the 4010 is listed in the 300 range-- I will never buy a magellan product again--garmin is the unti to purchase!!!!
