Why does my mp3 turn on and off continuously by itself????

try takeing it to an eletrical store and tell them that your OPAL mp3 player shuts itself off when you connect it to a computer

Sounds like your battery may be at fault, or if you rely on the usb to charge, then maybe it's not charging it due to power settings on the pc.
Try charging from the mains without the player being turned on, for about 20-30 mins. Then turn on and if the problem is still there, then it's the battery.

Hold the on/off button for 5-20 seconds it will shut off by itself then turn it back on...
It will work.

Turn on the mp4 play goto settings. Scroll down to power saver and turn it off.

Check if it is charged.........................

Connect it to an AC power and see if it turns on................

What sort of battery does it have?

it's supposed to continue with the song you were listening before turning it off if you don't remove the battery.

This happens to me to but only when Im listening to a long playlist and I haven't switched anything in a while, but if you go to "settings" and the to "auto shut-off" you can set the time you want it to auto shut off, usually it is on 5mins, so when the 5 minutes are up that you haven't touched it, it will shut off, i belive you sett it all the way up to 125 minutes, hope this helps!
