I can't figure out how my C2 Tech mp3 player's USB plug, plugs in. Help!

Alright, well I just baught this mp3 player (c2 tech 7 colour display changer) and well I talked to the guy at the store about it, and I've had an Ipod shuffle before, and he said it was just like an Ipod shuffle and I was like "Oh ok, thats good I know how to use that" and I baught it, and now that I got it home, I can't plug it in, the USB plug does not connect to it, Like I can pull the back peice out, and there's a a large USB plug, but it came with a USB cord, and one end is a large plug in and the other is a little tiny one, and clearly the large end goes into the computer, but I cannot find there the small one plugs into the player. And when I try to plug it in without the cord, well it doesn't fit, because the player is to FAT, I would have to unplug my lazer mouse, which I just don't want to do the hassel for, that's irritating because then I have no mouse. So if someone could please help me, figure this out, a diagram plx lolz, muchly appreciated, thanks.
