Conection with usb cable

You can only install USB driver into a compatible operating system.
So therefore try and install the driver into a Operating system version support by your devices.
Or you check sony support online through google to download driver for your type of Operating system if available.

in which format the videos are recording in your handycam??

You can check with Sony, but if I remember right you have to use the audio output separately from the camera through to the AUX or Line in on the sound board. You will have to go in to the setup of the sound card software to make sure that the video is coming from the USB port and at the same time it can come from the AUX or Line in on the sound card.

the sony site lets u download the driver but you have to have the serial number off of the picture ackage cd which i dont have...you also need the serial number from the bottom label of your camera and camera name code ex. dcrtvr260
