Samsung 58" cracked plasma screen

Samsung has agreed to replace the part but not cover labor. I'm not sure what the labor will even cost. I'd like to try to fix the panel myself if they will release it to me, but so far that's not an option. Does anyone have experience with this that can give some direction?

SOURCE: Broken Plasma TV

I'm looking for a broken screen HP-S5053 to buy from someone. I have a new screen that needs a home. I need one that is complete and working other than the screen. Or I would sell my screen to you. Thanks, Wade [email protected]

SOURCE: 50 " Samsung Plasma TV

Get the tech supplier to tell to the manufacture and the store what he told you.

Physical damage on any electronic device is very hard to have serviced under warranty. I have never seen a plasma display crack on its own. But, anything can happen.

I once saw a man drop a newly bought plasma TV in a parking lot outside from where he bought it and the screen broke. He never even made it home from the store!

Maybe you should contact a lawyer or someone who can give you legal advice about how to proceed with this. In different countries and different states the consumer protection laws are different.

SOURCE: how much will it cost for a cracked screen

I have a customer with a Samsung HP-S5053 in which the power supply has blown, and may have caused system wide component failures.

Rather than potentially spending a great deal of money trying to get his TV back to life, I'm certain he would be interested in either...

A: buying your TV for the good electronics

or

B: selling you his TV with a good screen.

Please let me know if you're interested in this type of deal.

You may contact me via email at [email protected]. My name is Chris.

3d Samsung plasma craked screen & won't turn on ,can it b fixed

you will have the replace the entire plasma screen. This will NOT be cost effective, will be cheaper to buy a new set vs. buying a replacement panel. Toss the set on Ebay or your local craigslist as a parts unit. If you get $60-80 for it, take the money and run !!!

TCP60S30 panasonic replacement screen

The cost of the PDP or plasma display panel is fatal as it will exceed the cost of a new set (not even counting major labor to replace it and the fact they are sold exchange=crack means no core.

Fatal issue.

Samsung PS50C451B2D screen broken.

Forget it---The cost of a PDP (plasma display panel) easily will exceed the cost of the set when new---not to mention major labor to replace it.

Is it worth fixing a cracked plasma tv;in particular a samsung pn58c8000? i am asking because I know a person who is selling theirs with cracked screen. It is a brand new television and is not even two...

No, a cracked screen, whatever the type, size or model of tv is terminal, unfixable. In a case of a plasma it's even worse - the crack allows the gases to escape which causes the voltages on the panel to spike, frying the Sustain boards.
The tv's are dead, good for parts at the best - a new panel would cost as much as a new tv, plus the shipping.

The screen needs to be replaced if it is cracked, usually it is not economical to repair, but it is worth getting a quote.

My child accidentally threw wi remote into screen on Samsung 50 invh plasma tv. causing a couple of cracks. The tv doesn't work currently. can it be repaired

You will have to have the PDP module (entire screen assembly) replaced. Depending on the model , they cost anywhere from $1100.00 to over $1500.00 plus a couple of hours labor. Most people spend that money on a new television. You can call 1-800-samsung to find the nearest service center.

Can a cracked screen on a samsung 58" plasma tv be fixed? or do you have to replace the whole tv??

the screen can be replaced. but the cost of the screen inclusive of labour would over way the cost of a new tv. by a large margin.
i would right the unit of and recommend replacement if it came into our shop.

Panasonic LCD TV with cracked screen

Sorry, not repairable, because the LCD,PLasma, and DLP screen are limited produced.Replacing the tv pannel screen will cost the same as a new tv.Might even cost more after the labors. The tvs screen is about 90% of the tv,that why when is broken or damage, now it only use for it electronics boards parts,or sell for it electronics boards parts that it.
