I have to press & press the volume button and finally it will work. I have cleaned it by taking it apart and blowing dust etc. out of it. It still won't work right.

Call Harmony support. I have the same thing with Harmony 670 and they said it is a hardware error. No fix that I have been able to find. If it is under warranty they will replace it. If not, I don't know what it would cost to repair.

Reread the manaul on the remote control, or call Logitech technical support and see if they can walk you through it, or if you still have the reciept try returning it and getting another one.

Try the following troubleshooting steps:
1) Remove the battery from the Harmony Remote for 10 seconds and reinsert it. If this does not resolve the issue, please continue troubleshooting.
2) Ensure you have the latest version of the Harmony Remote Software (7.6).
3) Update the firmware on the Harmony Remote. The following link shows how to complete this task:

4) Try putting the Harmony Remote in safe mode and complete the firmware update again. The following are the steps to accomplish this:
a) Remove the battery from the Harmony Remote.
b) Press and hold the power button while reinserting the battery into the Harmony Remote.
c) To get out of safe mode, remove the battery for 10 seconds and reinsert it into the Harmony Remote.
If still not working - contact Logitech and tell them you completed these steps

If the remote is still under warranty, you should contact Logitech's wonderful support team to get it replaced. If not, you're outa luck.
