Hi everyone i'm lost i have a padlock on my dell and i can't use it. It's freeze on number 5 (component or yuv connector) and i can't change this tu use the other connectors. Thanks for your help.
most likely, you'll need to get the display replaced. but try to disconnect all cables connected including the power cable. Then press and hold the power button for about 10 sec, then reconnected the power cable, try to see if you can then unlock it again. if you can access the OSD menu after that, try to restore it to factory defaults.most likely, you'll need to get the display replaced. but try to disconnect all cables connected including the power cable. You can try to unlock the display/monitor by pressing and holding down the MENU button on the monitor screeb (OSD menu buttons) while the monitor is powered on. Hold it for about 9 to 15 seconds, then release it. Let us know how it goes.

I fixed the problem myself. I got tired of the loud fan behind it keeping it cool. Here is how I did it.
Turn off the power and remove the monitor from the stand. Lay it on its face and remove the 4 black screws in the middle around the mounting surface for the stand. Flip it over and carefully pry the front away from the back . "BE CAREFUL NOT TO PULL TOO FAR AWAY AS YOU WILL DAMAGE THE CABLE TO THE BUTTONS"
Once the front bezel is free all the way around flip the monitor over onto its face. The back cover should slide off. Remove 8 screws holding 3 metal covers guarding the electronic boards. The right board slides to the right before lifting out. Once all 3 have been removed you will see the guts of the monitor. Find the heat sinks on the power supply. They will be covered in dust if they are like mine were. I used a Brush and can of Air to get them all clean.
Now for increasing the airflow up through the Hot stuff. I used a Dremel Tool to enlarge the holes already in the back plate and Cut out a hole in the back cover to let more air in. Its not pretty but it works.
Now remount it on the stand, Hook it up, and it should " cross your fingers " work.
I'm sorry, i can't help you. The traditional ways of obtaining the service manual have come up short and my contacts in the industry say that because the model is relatively new the service manuals for each particular revision will be available in several years.
Why are people giving their opinions rather then answering the question? My monitor just died and I need to replace the main power filter cap and transistor Q654, I need the part number for transistor Q654 as I think the OP does as well.
That is your number lock key is turned on, which means that your 9 key keypad is ready to use. If you press the number lock key on your keyboard the light will go away but your 9 key numeric keyboard won't work until you press the number lock key again.
Probably the backlight then. If you take a look on eBay you can probably get one for this screen and do the job yourself, they're relatively inexpensive.
Sounds like you have a bad solder connection. When you hit it, the connection reconnects until it gets hot again, and then the connection breaks loose again. Probably an easy fix if you have the soldering equipment. If not, you can take it to a local TV shop and they can take care of it for you. Be careful if you repair it yourself. Make sure you turn it off and unlug the power cord. Even with the power cord unplugged there can still be dangerous voltages present inside.
No. Monitors are different from TV's and are not able to connect directly to a Dish receiver. The frequencies the monitor uses are different that a TV. You can get video from a PC into a TV but not vice versa. You can use the second UHF output from the VIP 722 to connect an older TV without a digital tuner in it to that port. It will come out on channel 73 and will not be Hi def. You'll need to use the remote with the #2 on it to operate the receiver
