I am trying to repair a Dell 2407WFP. IC 651 and transistor Q654 are blown beyond recognition. I need to know what the number is on these so I can attempt to purchase. I would also like to be able to get the schematics/wiring diagrams. Can you help?

I'm sorry, i can't help you. The traditional ways of obtaining the service manual have come up short and my contacts in the industry say that because the model is relatively new the service manuals for each particular revision will be available in several years.

Can someone identify the part number of IC 651 and Q654 in my 2407WFPb Dell Monitor?

Why are people giving their opinions rather then answering the question? My monitor just died and I need to replace the main power filter cap and transistor Q654, I need the part number for transistor Q654 as I think the OP does as well.

2407wfp padlock thx for your help :(

You can try to unlock the display/monitor by pressing and holding down the MENU button on the monitor screeb (OSD menu buttons) while the monitor is powered on. Hold it for about 9 to 15 seconds, then release it. Let us know how it goes.

SIR, WILL YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE NUMBER OF THE IC802 IN THE POWER SUPPLY,BECAUSE THE EXISTING IC 802 BURNED BEYOND RECOGNIZE

Unfortunately not. If you are talking about what i think you are talking about, then you will not be able to find that number if it is burned away. That number is either a unique production batch number or a manufacturing date, either way, if it is burned beyond recognition, then unfortunately, that number is forever lost. If you are searching for a replacement chip, however, i have found one online; you can use this link http://www.donberg.ie/catalogue/semiconductors/semiconductors_tda/tda_16846.html

Screen dead, power works, but nothing works to the computer (cables are good - tried with another monitor)

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Am repairing a hp 7540 crt but the swtching ic is blown beyond recognition. the board is p774-2 for hp715a1316-2-hpq

Bud, i suggest you just buy a new MB cause lets say you fixed that MB and the PC/NB runs, that PC/NB will just run a maximum of 4 months without it blowing up again. and also it would damage all the internal parts of the PC/NB such as Processor, memory, and video card.

Sony color TV model kv-c29 11d blown power supply ic and transist

There should be circuit designations printed on the PC board. Without those, there are too many possibilities to give you anything useful. Can you provide those please?

Thanks,
Dan
