My ps 3 plays every game fine except for grand theft auto 4

It should prompt you upon first start up if you want to play, simple question.. Have you got the original GTA 4? TBoGT is a DLC Expansion pack.
If you have, follow these steps: 1. Load up GTA 4 2. Press Start > Scroll across to "Game" 3. New 4. TBoGT

maybe its regional code is wrong. also is it used?

I have the basic 360 that came with nothing. Um this actually did happen with me a few times when I first bought the game. Exept my problem was a little different. 30 or so minutes into playing the game it would come over the side the game was unreadable or dirty. I had just bought the thing from wal-mart so I knew it was neighter. I just went out and bought one from game stop. Game stop seems like the best place to buy games anymore.

This is what used to happen to me on my ps3 slim 160 GB when I put the disc in the screen goes black and int he top left corner I have a flashing disc, i updated the system to FW 4.00 and now the game works fine, i was previously running FW 3.73.

Then yeah its just that there is an error reading the disk. Try to clean it or get a new GTA3 game.
