I want to know if there is a way to delete all voice mail messages at once

The phone system handles where phone calls are sent not the voice mail. Deleting the mailbox will not change the rules programmed into the system. This can get kind of complicated for people that do not handle this a lot. There are many variables involved and the rules change depending on if the phone is in DND mode, if the system is in day or night mode etc.. Not sure why you would want ALL calls to the receptionist to go to a mailbox. Do you make your own major system program changes or pay a local installation company to do this?

LOL! Now I know what you're talking about. You must have a Panasonic TA-824 system with BV (the built in voicemail system).

Dialing 725 will get you to the BV system. Someone has filled up the message box. All those calls you get after hours will fill up the common mailbox, so someone needs to clean that box out on a hourly or daily basis. Search the file for 725 and you'll get the table that gives you instructions. The Operating Manual (OM) has specific user instructions, starting with page 36. It involves a 725 2 sequence with 3 pause 3 erasing messages. Read the section carefully, because if you mess up you will erase ALL messages.

When you get to 5 minutes remaining in the BV system, you should have heard a funny dial tone. I'm not exactly sure if it would have been on all phones, or just the operator phone and the phone with a full mailbox. We have never installed one on a TA system in 5 years :-)

would simpy take the message.) This GE phone is commucating with my VONAGE account and letting me know that I have a mesage in my VONAGE account voicemail. All I have to do is either go online and delete the messages (after listening to them of course) and refresh the page. Once the messsages are deleted, the carrier lets my phone know the messages are gone and the NEW VOICE MAIL prompt on the handset disappears. I suppose I can do it by listening to the messages by calling in and deleting through the touch pad on the phone as well
