RCA 25413RE3 Corded Phone Questions & Answers
The new message light keeps
Don't know about other models, but I just called RCA small business
phone support (800-511-3180) to find out how to clear the message light
indicator on my 25210 2-line cordless phone when it continues to blink
but there is no message.
All you have to do is hold down the delete button for a few seconds and
it will clear. Hope this helps someone else from going batty!
Our intercom on the phone
We had the same problem...Each phone line needs to have a separate phone I.D. You probably have two phones with the same number or one phone does not have a number assigned to it. You can do this automatically. Press menu, phone options, then phone I.D. and press select and the system will automatically assign an I.D. to the phone. Do this for each phone on your system and the problem should be solved.

Turns out there is no called ID on this model =(
The intercom button keeps flashing
If you have more than one phone then its probably flashing because the phone ID is the same as another phone on your system or not setup up yet with an ID just has two dashes (--). or you if you have more than one phone on the system and have more than 2 lines coming into the phone, they all have to be on line 1 together in the first port on the back. Communication between sets are done on line 1
We have a RCA model #25413RE3-A and lost the
Hi
Listen for a Dial Tone
When you pick up the receiver of your home telephone
, you should hear the distinctive sound of a dial tone. If the tone is not present, one of several factors may be in play. First, ensure the line is actually available by verifying that any other telephones in the home are securely on the hook and not in use; be sure to verify that any computers or fax machines are also not in an "off hook" condition. If all other telephones and devices are securely on the hook, and at least one of those phones has a dial tone, there may be a broken telephone wire at the non-functional phone that needs to be replaced. If none of the phones
are able to get a dial tone, you may be able to test the line by plugging a working telephone into the modular telephone jack found inside your network interface device (NID) outside the home. This device is a small plastic box where the telephone company's incoming wires terminate and the home wiring begins; simply open the box and plug a working telephone into the available telephone jack. If this jack is not working, call your local telephone carrier for further service.
