Hello
As there is no "Meny" button on the front panel of your tV, it is not possible to select its inputs. Just buy one orginal remote control of this device, or buy a unversal remote control which has setup codes for your Sansui combo. Some universal remote codes for Sansui combos are 0394 0967 & 0310. Just look for a suitable universal remote control, which ahs setup codes with your Combo. you will get these details from the broshure of the remote control. OK.

Check the remote sensor. It is inside the TV.

You have to open your TV to access this part. It can be located just behind the remote sensor window at the front panel of the TV. Will be a three terminal component, look brownish black in color, diretly soldered to a printed circuit board. This won't cost more, and can be bought from most of the electronic sparepart selling shops at your town. It will have a typical number printed on it and should be noted when buying a new one.
The work is somewhat skilled one, and if you have knoledge in electronics, and have tools to do the work, you can do it by yourself at home. OK.

How do i get the hitachi tv model ct553k to switch to auxillary without the remote

Almost all models of televisions have buttons on the television itself. In this particular case you are looking for a button that probably says "source". Depending on how many sources your television has you may have to press it a couple times to scroll through the options.

How do you get to the auxillary channels or the channel where the DVD player or video games would go? I have a DVD player hooked up to the TV, but it only goes from channels 2-69 with no auxillary/video...

Do you have the original remote? If you do, you need to press the input button (on the left below 7 and above the DVD controls). The external device must be on before you scroll through the available inputs. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if the OnScreen Menu has an option to toggle the Input (since there is a Menu button on the TV it would work around the issue).

A substitute remote that should access all of the TV features including the Input is available here: http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=gmi&smodel=32V420T&brand_pn=RCA_32V420T&mode=large&uuid=12787350637590

I hope this helps.

2003 Chevy Van, drives ok but has strange whining sound coming from engine. Any ideas?

Remove the auxillary drive belts and run the engine without them .If the noise is gone then its something driven by the auxillary belts.if not then check timing belt runners [if fitted]But check oil -water levels first

Change input to Aux In without remote CMT-NEZ3 Sony

I have not found a way to select Audio In without the remote (and I've tried every combination of buttons I can think of!)

The approved way to select Audio In is to press the FUNCTION button on the RM-SC30 remote that should have been included with your Sony CMT-NEZ3. See http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-home.pl?mdl=CMTNEZ3 to download your manual.

Unable to connect ipod

Reset the radio (it has a processor) by just unplugging the power cord for about 30+ seconds and plugging it back in. If this doesn't solve the problem, try replacing the remote battery (CR2032- can be found almost everywhere batteries are sold) If all else fails, call Bose tech support. The cable you connected has nothing to do with this.

Can't get auxillary channel

Have you tried selecting it in the channel section of the menu? The main menu also might have an input option since there is no "input" or "source" button on your remote.
