How to zoom out picture?

You should have its remote control to zoom out the picture. RCA 32V420T User Manual Try this link to download the user manual. It has all details. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchased a suitable one. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability? Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have. Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this site too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ If you see these sites by "MOSAIC" or "Magazine" view will make surf easier. Or type in the brand name of your device in the search box, and press "Enter". Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops.

RCA 32V432T television ,Turns on and off on its own and runs through channels continuously

The problem is most DEFFINATELY the control board behind the user buttons.
You have 3 options to fix this...
1. Replace the new board completely (no garuntee your getting a "new" part).
2. Replace the tack switches (requires soldering and patients [alot of them]).
3. Remove the board and snip the one wire marked "Key". I didn't snip it so much as correctly pulled the wire out of the plug itself. By removing that one wire from the board you disable just the buttons. You still have complete use of the remote. Who the heck walks over to the TV these days anyway!?!?

Fpa lock on

Most RCA sets use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The code reset is different depending on the model. Try each number until you find the one that works for you.

1. Hold down the MENU button on the remote and VOLUME DOWN button on the TV it's self at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked

2. Hold down the 0 (zero) button on the remote and the VOLUME DOWN button on the TV itself at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be unlocked

3. Hold down the MENU button on the front of the TV and the TV button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds. 4- Hold down GO BACK button on the remote and MENU button on the front of the TV at the same time for at least 4 seconds. Hold down EJECT button on the front of the TV set and the MENU button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds. Depending on the model, one of the methods should unlock the V-chip. Now, if desired, you can change the settings on the V-chip by going to the MENU and going to PARENTAL CONTROLS, or on some sets, going to MENU and then going to TV SETUP, then to V-CHIP SET

32 RCA POWER LIGHT ON,NO SCREEN FLYBACK? DO

hi welcome to fixya
here is on how will you fix your tv, before you remove the anode cap and discharge the flyback lets verify first to narrow down where the problem came from since their is no picture at the screen. now you will need to open the back cover to gain access the chassis board. then you need to turn on the tv unit and then check if their is a heater ( light ) at the neck of the picture tube which mean their is secondary output voltage at the flyback, but if the heater can not be seen that is mean the flyback is not switch on then it will not have high voltage to supply the picture. now turn off and unplugged the tv unit. at this time to check the chassis board you will need to remove the anode cap but discharge first the voltage from coming from the flyback. get a flat screw driver and single wire now splice one end of the wire to the screwdriver then the other end at the metal chassis of the picture tube, to discharge the flyback insert the flat screwdriver at the anode cap you can now remove the anode cap. usually the cause when their is no screen or no high voltage at the flyback is defective horizontal out put transistor, check if shorted at the same time you need to check the free driver output transistor which might be open resistance. hope this will help you feel free to ask further question i'm glad to help you. good luck and thanks for consulting the fixya.

Rca turns itself off and on and scans thru all the channels

I have an easier solution, First I want to thank those who posted the solution that the problem is on the small switch board mounted right behind the switches under the picture tube. I figured that might be where the problem was but it's better to to see it confirmed. I thought the problem was more complex like maybe an IC chip got zapped or something but there are none on that board. Only 6 switches, the infared sensor, 1 capacitor and some resistors. I am convinced that in my case at least the problem is caused by humidity. It happened last year constantly durring humid weather in the summer and only a couple of times over the winter when the air is dry and cooler. I did figure an easier way to disconnect all the switches without unsoldering. After you remove the board, flip it over to the solder side and see where the wires connect. You will see them labled GND - KEY - +5 v - LED and IR. The one you want is labled KEY. You will see on the other side this wire is second from the end . Just separate the wires a bit and cut it. That's it. Just be sure it is the one marked KEY. This wire goes thru a series of resistors and the switches and nothing else. Just cut that one wire and put a piece of tape over the cut ends and thats it. it's a lot easier then unsoldering all 6 switches. And if you do decide at some point later to replace the switches, it's easy to resolder the wires and tape it. I did it this way and my TV is working perfect. I was done in ten minutes. You can only control the TV with the remote but so what, thats all we use 95% of the time anyway. I hope this helped you.
