Hi i have RAV312 remote control for YAMAHA RXV361. i want to program it to control my TV - HAIER 42LK1. how do i do that?

i better suggest that you buy a universal remote that supports Rav312 rather than buying a Rav311, coz sometyms there are instances that even they look exactly the same the programs of each buttons are different unless they have the same chipboard. So, to play safe go for a universal remote that supports Rav312. hope that it helps.

i hav yamaha rav312 remote but its volume buttons are not working rest of all are working fine. i cleaned it from inside but result is still same.

I found the 3 digit code for my Haier tv by auto search it was 226.

Could be two things:

First you have to make sure the speakers are all active, there is a speaker button on the RXV361 front on the right I think but not on the remote, you need B setting for all speakers. You run the sound test from the set up menu.

or it could be that Sky is not showing the programme you are watching in 5.1 so you won't hear it from all speakers, you can force this by using the Music enhancer button of the RXV361 remote.
